Hey all,
I need help configuring my Communication server (Succession v4.5)to allow me to use an IP phone.
The installation guide reads as follows:
Procedure 18 Installing an IP Phone 2004 for the first time
1 Configure a virtual loop on the system using LD 97. For more information, see Software Input/Output: Administration (553-3001-311).
2 Configure the IP Phone 2004 on the system using LD 11. For more information, see Software Input/Output: Administration (553-3001-311).
The referenced manual is only available if you have a Nortel support plan. Is a virtual loop the same as a phontom loop? I'm not very familiar with the Nortel command set, so please include prompts and responses. Thanks so much
