hi, we have 2* 2208 load balancer switches. i would like to know if the /c/slb/sync/ peer 1 +2 and the update and session sync enable settings are just for the following
- syncing the slb/vrrp configs with /oper/slb/sync typically from alteon1 to alteon2
- exchanging the session info for failover reasons
therefore is it best to
- create a seperate port/vlan and put 2 interfaces for each alteon, use this for the above and join them with a cross cable, peer 1 will have
1st load balancer address, peer2 will have the second. thx
