Is there any way I may program my Universal Remote without having to deal with installer? It's a real pain in the wallet when I need to update or add equipment to remote. Please advise

Yes, use the setup program. Some dealers will supply it, but it's not generally available publicly. It's called completecontrolsuite.exe
But I'm assuming you mean programming the REMOTE, not just the base station? Which remote are you using with it?
