Supposedly hard-wired key loggers are installed on new laptop computers and then the info is sent to the US government. Sounds unlikely to me, but folks here are pretty smart, so maybe someone can either debunk or prove this allegation.Taking another look at the photos makes me think this is an elaborate hoax because the cables and chips are photographed out of context, rather than connected to the laptop. Of course, simple common sense also makes me think this is a hoax.
