Hello All!
I'm interested in Mr. House. I'm planning on building a house and would like some suggestions as to what to install while under construction? I was thinking thermostat, etc. I want the motion detection and the flood lamp for outside. Also, I'd like to install x10 cameras in key locations in the house. Another interest would be dimmers & timers. Any special considerations?

Have you taken a look at "HomeSeer"??
First thing I would do is install good camera's and forget any X10 cams.
Read around older post many people asked the same question you have.
Or have you checked out Charmed Quark Software?
I am using it and like it a lot! Stefan.
