Win32.TrojanClicker.Agent - Need Help

May 13, 2009 4 Replies

I have gotten infected with this file with the name Win32Trojan.Clicker.Agent

At least that's what AdAware AntiSpyware program calls it when I run it. I also went to the Windows Malicious Software Removal program and it said it removed some malware program. But, it keeps coming back. It acts like it has something to do with MS Word when I try to shut down my computer.

I need some help with this. What is it? How do I get rid of it? What is the threat? Anyone know anything about this, I'd sure appreciate any help.

1) Turn off system restore, then reboot. That will eliminate all restore points including any infected restore points. 2)After the reboot, you can turn system restore on again. You will start fresh restore points again.

Yes, ridiculously off-topic. q.v. alt.comp.anti-virus
