why wireless router cheaper than plain router?

WRT54g wireless router sells for $55 (on buy.com) BEFSX41 broadband router sells for $63

It seems that the wrt54g is equivalent to befsx41 plus a wireless access point, so in theory it should cost more than the befsx41. Is the wrt54g cheaper because of economy of scale, or does the befsx41 have additional features not available in the wrt54g?

I'm really shopping for a SPI firewall/router like the befsx41 and wonder if I can get the wrt54g and disable the wireless feature.

None of the Linksys units are true firewalls - they word "Firewall" printed in their descriptions does not make them Firewalls. All of the Linksys line is strictly a NAT solution, some with advanced features, but not in any manner a firewall. SPI does not make the device a firewall.
