Sonicwall 2040 VPN Configuration - Connect to downstream router on remote side....

Jan 22, 2006 1 Replies

My organization has two offices. One office is located in NJ and the other is located in NY. The private network in NJ is 10.0.1.0/24 and the private network in NY is 10.0.2.0/24.

We are using 2 Sonicwall 2040's with Enhanced to establish a VPN. In New york, we have a t1 to a vendor. the vendor's ethernet address is

10.0.2.80 and is directly connected to our network in ny.

The vendor should be doing NAT. Their Network ID is 223.223.223.0/24

I need to connect to a server on their network with an ip of

223.223.223.12 from NJ.

What do I need to do? Routes, NAT Policy.....

Thanks in Advance....

I'm not trying to be a smartass, but in all honest the correct answer here is this:

"You need to hire someone to set you up a site-to-site VPN."

Some post-implementation training would probably also be wise.
