Comodo fails it's own leaktest!

Your firewall didn't pass the test and transmitted information to our website.

This time it was useless information - next time it could be your credit card number or other sensitive data being passed to a hacker.

Comodo Personal Firewall 2.0 is the only firewall to pass the Parent Injection Leak test with its default settings.

Get Protected. Download Comodo Personal Firewall Now.

So, what's up with that?

Huh, without asking anything? Unacceptable, even with asking.

how do you know it's useless information? Did you monitor the traffic?

allow Comodo to hijack your PC? Never. So, Comodo Personal Firewall 2.0 is a kind of trojan. Thank you for this information.

I didn't monitor anything. That's what their website stated, not me.

thanks. Please update your findings in the grc newsgroup. If someone wants to test it it's nice to be warned.

I did. I also wonder why Melih of Comodo group hasn't responded to this thread. I'm sure he/she's seen it.

Ok...here's another update. It appears one of the rules that I had created/allowed was the problem. I deleted some of them, re-ran the leaktest and Comodo did detect it. So, it does work as advertised.
