Can't turn on Windows Firewall open original image

Hello all,

I have a Windows XP (with SP2) and I am trying to turn on my Windows Firewall, however, the option is grayed out. I am logged on as administrator. I am not on a domain and all the settings for Windows Firewall are Not Configured in my Local Security Policies. I have run Ad-Aware, Stinger, HiJackThis, and Norton Antivirus and they have not found any malware or viruses. I don't know if a virus or malware had gotten in and changed the registry or what. Any help is greatly appreciated!

In case anyone comes up with the same problem, I realized that a setting in the registry was changed. I changed it from 0 to 1. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
