For a quick check try Qcheck

. The console requires Windows but they have endpoints for just about everything you're likely to encounter. Nice piece of freeware.

We have a Routing Switch that is connected by fiber to 4 other switches. I want to run a test on the other end of each switch to see if I am getting the full bandwidth. Anyone have any suggestions on software to use to test these connections?

I typically use `ttcp` with options.

You can also use ttcp. It's available for many platforms as a java tool and for windows as ttcpw.exe. Lets you test udp and tcp in varying packet sizes. Of course, you may find the bottleneck is the local nic/cpu.
