Wake on Lan, Pix 506E

Dec 20, 2006 6 Replies

I have a Pix 506E firewall on my network at work. I am trying to use the Depicus utility to wake up my work computer from home. The utility works from inside the network, but I don't know how to use from outside the network.

Can anybody help me accomplish this?

How about logging onto a terminal server etc, and running the app from there?

Regards

Configure a VPN, at that point you can access all resources on the internal network, however you do not mention the version of OS your PIX is running, also you may ask the vender on what ports need to be published through the firewall in order to make *their* utility work...

From their website :

I run our network here but It's not my specialty...

How do I find the version of the OS on the PIX?

The utility will let me designate a port, so it should work as long as I enter a port that the PC is listening on, correct?
