Syslog port to MAC address changes on a Catalyst 35xx?

Hi all

I just wounder if this is possible, I have done some brief research and haven't found a clear solution on this. I have several Cat 3548XL running IOS 12.0(5), all these are used as access switches and are syslogging to a central server. We are not running any NACsystems. What I would like to see is the switches send the MAC address of the computer connecting to a port, for example when a stationary computer is powered on. Is this possible?

You will not ba able to do this on the switch.

You will be able to achieve this result by gathering information from the switch using say SNMP and processing it on a seperate computer.
