routed port and SVI difference

Hi to all

I would know differences ( advantages and disadvantages) , talking about multilayer switching on a Cisco 6500, , between routed interface and SVI (switched virtual interface)

Do they impact in a different way on 6500's CPU performance?

Maybe SVI are more efficent than a routed interfaces?

thanx

I suspect (strongly) that physical routed ports are not supported for SSO (Stateful Switch Over).

There may I suppose be some QoS differences in the event that you were able to use the physical queues on the interfaces but the packets do end up there anyway.

No forwarding rate differences at all I would guess.
