Route poisoning ?

I'm studying about one of the solutions to solve Distance vector protocol routing loop.

When I read about Routing poisoning, I saw this: Route poisoning does not break split horizon rules. Split horizon with poison reverse is route poisoning that is placed on links that split horizon would not normally allow routing information to flow across.

I have no clue..Please help me out. I don't know understand what I'm reading...=.=;

Route poisoning does not break split horizon rules. ?? What does it mean ? I know a little bit of split horizon, but....help !!

Hello, That mean route poisoning itself does not sends info about some poisoned network from place where it comes. That's why they created split horizon with poison reverse which allows poisoned network back to router from where it arrived.
