route maps on NME-16ES-1G etherswitch module

Hardware is: NME-16ES-1G etherswitch-module (aka ESM) in a 3845 Chassis

Software is: c3750-ipservices-mz.122-25.SEE3.bin

12.2(25)SEE3 C3750-IPSERVICES-M

Problem is:

Traffic coming in from two different remote destinations needs to be "route-mapped" to different next-hops based upon the source network. The traffic arrives at the ESM from the 3845 router on interface Gig1/0/2, the "internal" interface, so I want to apply the route map with the "ip policy route-map" statement on that interface.

The Gig1/0/2 interface doesn't reject the "ip policy route-map" statement, but the configuration statement does not "stick". I suspect this may be an IOS feature-set type issue, does IPSERVICES-M support route maps???

Define "does not stick". Is this a layer 2 or layer interface?

Chris.
