May any one of you confirm that PIX 7.0.2 is able to manage the kind of tunnel specified in the subject? I want to build one of that type with an external telco provider but they say the PIX doesn't support it.

Right, up to release 6.3 it is supported (PIX 501 and 506)

Actually only the 7.0(x) doesn't support it. You must upgrade to 7.2
