Pix 501 Port Redirection Nightmares

Hi, I'm having some difficulty setting up port redirection on my PIX

501. I'd like to use my torrent program which operates on port 56317. I've searched forums for days looking for an answer that works for me, with no avail.

I'm new to Cisco, which is the basis of my problem. Please help me. How do I firstly, remove these access-lists I've entered into the firewall trying to configure it. Secondly, how do I configure the PIX

501 correctly?

Thank you very much for your time. Included is the presently messed-up configuration. Thank you.

Hmmm, long time since I had to do this, from memory the commands I think you want to port forward are:

static (inside,outside) tcp interface 56317 Internal_IP_Address 56317 netmask 255.255.255.255

access-list outside_access_in permit tcp any any/Your_Public_IP eq 56317

access-group outside_access_in in interface outside

Are you sure that this is TCP and not UDP. I did use a Torrent program a while back and something told me it used UDP. There again could be wrong.

Good luck

Regards

Darren
