Newbie question regarding 831 SOHO router

My company is a telecom interconnect, but I have one tech who is comfortable on the Cisco IOS, and he has installed and configured several Cisco 1700 series routers. However, neither of us knows much about product differentiation among the various series and platforms.

A client of ours has an 831 Cisco router. They have one location with about

25 computers and a Windows 2003 server, using cable modem internet. Basically, they just need internet access, NAT, and good firewall protection. In general terms, what would be the benefits of using the 831 vs an "entry level" product by Netgear or Linksys?

thank you,

jm
