I was wondering if anyone knows of any easy way to log bad password attempts on Cisco devices.

I use the following, you need the right version of code, I'm running flash:c3550-ipservicesk9-mz.122-25.SED.bin
login block-for 10 attempts 3 within 3 login on-failure log login on-success log
Of course you can also use access-lists and log.
