Internet Transit on MPLS Backbone ? what is the best solution ?

Hi

i request your help for the choice of a solution.

Actually, i have a backbone with 4 Cisco Catalyst 6500 MSFC2/PFC2 connected by ethernet link.

On this Cisco 6500, i connect 5 Cisco 7204VXR NPE400, all are in the same subnet (ethernet): Cisco 7204VXR A: 172.20.1.1/24 Cisco 7204VXR B: 172.20.1.2/24 Cisco 7204VXR C: 172.20.1.3/24 Cisco 7204VXR D: 172.20.1.4/24 Cisco 7204VXR E: 172.20.1.5/24 Cisco 6500 A: 172.20.1.10/24 Cisco 6500 B: 172.20.1.11/24 Cisco 6500 C: 172.20.1.12/24 Cisco 6500 D: 172.20.1.13/24

Actually, all router have a BGP Session (Full mesh) but cisco 6500 only receive local route, not the full BGP table.

We want put our bakbone in MPLS (Only Cisco 6500) with ISIS int IGP.

What is the best choice for add this MPLS core ? create a MPLS VPN only for Cisco 7204 on the 6500 ? Other solution ?

My Idea:

Cisco 7204 ==> BGP Only Connected and Static Route ==> 6500 (MPLS VPN)

and after this session

Cisco 7204 A ==> BGP Full Table ==> Cisco 7204 B Cisco 7204 A ==> BGP Full Table ==> Cisco 7204 C

thanks Mag
