"sh int" command on gigabit interface on Cisco 2950 switch shows following:
GigabitEthernet0/1 is up, line protocol is up Hardware is Gigabit Ethernet, address is XXXX.XXXX.XXXX (bia XXXX.XXXX.XXXX) MTU 1500 bytes, BW 1000000 Kbit, DLY 1000 usec, reliability 255/255, txload 1/255, rxload 1/255 Encapsulation ARPA, loopback not set Keepalive set (10 sec) Full-duplex mode, link type is force-up, unknown 0 output flow-control is unsupported, input flow-control is unsupported,
1000Mb/s input flow-control is off, output flow-control is on ARP type: ARPA, ARP Timeout 04:00:00 ...so what does this mean "output flow-control is unsupported, input flow-control is unsupported"? i'm administrating 15 more switches of the same type and only this one gets this message. why does it say so?
thanks for answers
