I'm currently working on a problem related to session timeouts on Oracle (SQL*Net) sessions left inactive for a period (~ 30 minutes). I'm finding that setting the "timeout conn." parameter effects the inactivity timer for outbound connections, but not inbound connections (which get purged after 10 minutes of inactivity). Is this the normal behavior?
