Flow Control in Trunk

As we all know, the function of flow control can be set on a single port. but i'm wondering, can it be applied to a trunk? i feel the answer should be no, however, if we consider trunk as a logic link, the result will be different, won't it? anyhow, confused... who can give me a clear explanation? thx...
