I am wondering if there is a fast way to interrogate the cam tables on the catalyst 3750 switch stacks. I am trying to find around 100 mac address to find out what ports they map too and i need to do this quickly. Thanks
SNMP version 2 with a SNMP BulkGet is going to be the fastest you will be able to get. However, it may not be "quick", as it requires CPU intervention, and the switch usually throttles SNMP output (even when the switch is not busy) so as to prevent overload.
I'd suggest Switchmap. Nice tool that will take into account dot1q trunks, including Cisco VoIP phones.
