In access lists....

access-list 104 permit tcp any host eq cmd

What protocol number is "cmd" ????

TCP port 514. It's one of the unusual ones that has a different protocol using the UDP port ... which is syslog.

ah-ha! syslog!

Thank you! This one, "cmd" was not in the command ref guides.

But it's only syslog when using UDP. TCP is remote-cmd (cmd) .. originally from unix.
