Hi,
I have 4 Cisco ONSs in a SONET ring. The management port on one of the ONSs, say ONS-1, is connected physically to my management subnet through a Cisco 3750 switch. The management ports on other ONSs are not connected to the switch.
Can someone explain how do the other ONSs know to direct their management information to ONS-1? I know they communicate over SDCC ( SONET Data Communications Channel) which has OSPF built into it but any more insight into this will be greatly appreciated!!
