Cisco content switch *.pfx certificate import issue

Hello all,

Firstly let me just say that I am new to the CSS and may have missed some of the basics in relation to my issue. Please bare with me.

Essentially I have exported a cert from IIS with the private key and wish to set this certificate up on the CSS.

From what I could find from the Cisco Advanced user guide on the 11503

is that it does support pfx format files

My issue is when you go to associate the certificate file -

ssl associate

The CSS appears to want or requires two files cert and private key. Which is of course all wrapped up in one pfx file.

What am I missing?

Thank you

You are nothing missing.

In the Pfx file is also the key include.

So you make two associates for your cert en for your key to the same certificate.

Hi Eddie,

You will have to forgive me if this is obvious for you. But will I need to do something very much like:

ssl associate cert myrsacert1 xxxx.pfx

ssl associate rsakey myrsakey1 xxxx.pfx

where xxxx is the same pfx file

Thanks
