Hi all,
I got a new cisco 836 and after some configuration stuff it finally start working. Two issues are still remaining:
1st: Any access towards ebay - regardless ebay.com or ebay.de - is damn slow. Any other page, even those including pictures and other "useless" gadgets are pretty fast. I changed the "ip tcp adjust-mss" value several times but no change regarding ebay.
Any hint which adjustment in combination with mtu size 1492 on the dsl side is best ?
2nd: The router itself cannot not ping or initiate any tcp connects to other machines. All participants on the LAN can do so. I checked my acl and switched on the debug. But I cannot see anything useful there at all.
The current firmware is 12.4.
