Catalyst 2950 - flash I/O error

HI All,

This might sound like a stupid question, but I've got a 2950 that is failing to boot. During initialization of the flash I recieve an I/O error (block 2). I try and fsck the flash and recieve the same error. I am guessing this is fairly terminal but just wondering whether there was anything else I could do to get this working.

Thanks

Paul

After you load a valid image (either via X,Y or Zmodem, or TFTP using ROMMON) and boot the box, format the flash, copy an image to it and reboot. If you get the same error, the flash is bad and you will need to RMA it.
