Can Pix OS 4.1.4 support dhcp client on outside interface (eth0) ?
I have a PIX Classic (pre PIX 520) running PIX OS 4.1.4 I would like to plug the outside eth0 into my cable modem and have it receive an ip address via DCHP from my isp.
no error msg when i put in "config # ip address outside dhcp setroute" but it also doesn't do anything , ie the outside interface still stays at ip address outside 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0. without "setroute" is the same
