Basic Multicast Cisco Configuration Problem

Hi all,

I have one question regarding configuration of PIM-Sparse Dense Mode. If I 'm not wrong, in order to make a Cisco router to register with a Rendezvous Point when a multicast flow is received in one of its interfaces is that the source of this multicast must be in the same LAN as the FastEthernet interface of the Cisco Router.

My scenario is the following: My multicast source is behind another router (non-Cisco router) which doesn't support PIM at all. Both routers are connected between them in the same LAN. How can I configure the Cisco Router in order to forward this multicast flow towards the Rendezvous Point?

Thanks a lot

Victor
