I configured 2 vlan on a Catalyst 3750 Metro and I would like to route multicast traffic between these 2 vlan. I configured an IP address and I enabled PIM dense mode on the 2 vlan interfaces. I enabled multicast routing with the command "IP multicast-routing distributed". But if the multicast source is on one vlan and the receiver on the other, the receiver gets nothing.
here's the config of the switch: ... ip routing ip multicast-routing distributed ... interface vlan x ip address ... ip pim version 1 ip pim dense-mode
interface vlan y ip address ... ip pim version 1 ip pim dense-mode ...
