hi,

in older versions the "show dot1x" command shew the following:

BET-SW-Test#sh dot1x all Dot1x Info for interface FastEthernet0/1

---------------------------------------------------- Supplicant MAC 000b.5d7f.6386 AuthSM State = AUTHENTICATED(AUTH-FAIL-VLAN) BendSM State = IDLE Posture = N/A PortStatus = AUTHORIZED(AUTH-FAIL-VLAN) MaxReq = 2 MaxAuthReq = 2 HostMode = Single PortControl = Auto ControlDirection = Both QuietPeriod = 60 Seconds Re-authentication = Disabled ReAuthPeriod = 3600 Seconds ServerTimeout = 30 Seconds SuppTimeout = 30 Seconds TxPeriod = 30 Seconds Guest-Vlan = 250 AuthFail-Vlan = 250 AuthFail-Max-Attempts = 3 Critical Port = Disabled

in the latest version it only shows something like this:

BET-SW-Test#sh dot1x all Sysauthcontrol Enabled Dot1x Protocol Version 2 Critical Recovery Delay 100 Critical EAPOL Disabled

Dot1x Info for FastEthernet0/1

----------------------------------- PAE = AUTHENTICATOR PortControl = AUTO ControlDirection = Both HostMode = SINGLE_HOST ReAuthentication = Disabled QuietPeriod = 60 ServerTimeout = 30 SuppTimeout = 30 ReAuthPeriod = 3600 (Locally configured) ReAuthMax = 2 MaxReq = 2 TxPeriod = 30 RateLimitPeriod = 0 Auth-Fail-Vlan = 250 Auth-Fail-Max-attempts = 3 Guest-Vlan = 250

how can i see if port is authenticated, not authenticated, in guest-vlan or something ? i only got this output every time.

Thanks in advance Eric
