3750 master not seeing other stack members + image loading ???

Same stack as the no image question earlier, which is still unanswered but may be related.

Three 3750s, one G the other 10/100 versions.

3750G is the only one that boots - because it's the only one that has an image in flash. The other two are new, but, for some unknown reason don't have an image. 3750 G is running this. c3750-ipbase-mz.122-25.SEE1

what are my options for getting an image onto the other switches? given that the other switches are not actually in the stack, I attempted this archive command just to see if it exists and it doesn't.

3750G-sr-01#archive copy-sw ? % Unrecognized command

In other IOS devices it's possible to boot into rommon, set tftp required parameters and download an image. but, that doesn't appear to be the case in "switch:" mode which is what these devices are booting into. And, it isn't clear how to get to rommon.

getting back to the question of stack membership. they are cabled with gigastack cables from top (1) to bottom (3) just as in fig 2-1

This may help to recover the non-booting switches.

Recover them out of the stack.

All stack members beed to have the same software release. If you do not have the software image you can copy it off of the working one but I guess that you shouldn't break it?

To get the image off

copy flash:/your-filename tftp

You will need a tftp server.

tftpd32.exe is nice.

This should get you started.
