2821 Router

May 04, 2007 1 Replies

We have a 2821 router which is also our firewall. I have NAT configured and it is working properly but I need to allow my internal network 10.40.56.0 to access one of our web servers via it's public IP address. Basically what I want is for the connection to go out the firewall and then come back in to the natted address.

Currently when I try to access the server via it's public address the connection times out. I can access the server by it's private address when I'm behind the firewall and I can access the server via it's public address when I am outside the firewall.

I hope that makes sense. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I should fix it in the DNS. Or you can use a proxyserver.
