2621 Router Network on a stick config

Jun 20, 2010 3 Replies

I have set up a trunk link comprised of native vlan (ip address

192.168.30.15 255.255.255.0) and vlan 500 ( ip address 192.168.25.15
255.255.255.0). Both are sub-ifs of eth0/0. From the router, I am able to ping address 192.168.25.77. From the workstation, I am able to ping
192.168.30.15 and 192.168.25.15 but not 192.168.25.77.

Would anyone know why I am not able to ping 192.168.25.77?

Thanks in advance

Wrong/no default gateway on 192.168.25.77?

Is default gateway on 192.168.25.77 pc the right one?

Yes, you are absolutely right. There was no reverse route setup on the remote machine.

Sorry, for the bother.
