VAT on exams?

Whilst looking at booking the CIT exam, I noticed Prometric don't seem to charge VAT, so it's £84 an exam, and Pearson do, so it's £98.70. Are Pearson overcharging us?

In Aus, at least, we don't pay GST on the either the Pearson nor Prometric exams because they are effectively billed in the US and (I believe) delivered in the US, meaning that are GST exempt.

Maybe in the UK Pearson are effectively a local company while Prometric are an OS provider.

In the end, it means go with Prometric and save your money. Alternatively, call Pearson, tell the situation, and see if you can get a discount voucher :)
