CCNP Advanced Routing exam Exam preparation question

Aug 06, 2006 2 Replies

Hi All,

I passed the CCNA 4 Months ago, and would like to do the CCNP. For the CCNP advanced routing exam how long would it take to study at home (approximately), also what basic equipment would I need? I have a 3350 and a few 2500 routers in work I can use.

Cheers,

Craig (Wales UK)

Hi, Craig,

I think you would buy some routers for the lab, cause you can not modify the config of the working router (2501, 2601...ect) as you will. It is very cheap to buy some second hand routers or switches here.

Hi,

Do a google search on "dynamips". There is a cisco 7206 emulator software program. It functions as a real router. You can load any IOS image from CCO. It is that good you can even debug. I am using this for my CCIE lab prep.

Regards
