Anybody know where I can get these modular adapters with the RJ45 socket on the side rather than on the end. I have some terminals where the 25 pin serial port is under the base and there is insufficient clearance to use the normal type of adapter.

Never saw a DB25-8P8C adapter with modular port on the side. Additionally, with more and more equipment having natural support for Ethernet, RS 485 or 422 chances are slim that someone would introduce a new model of such adapters to the market. I hate to say that but you may have to make do with some ingenuity, a little hack saw and a glue gun to make one for yourself. Good luck!
