Is this cable modem routable?
This is a new connection from Insight Road Runner.
I have connected a LinkSys BEFSR41 Router into this thing. The router
picks up the IP, SM, and DG. I added 3 lines of DNS that I wrote down
after the tech that installed the modem to one PC.
I took the network down, connected the router, bounced the modem,
plugged in the modem. The modem looks fine internally, it sends IPs
DHCP to the computer, but no internet.
In the past I replaced a Toshiba CM because I found out that it was
not routable.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
