password for Best Data CMX300 cable modem?

I got this new cable modem and noticed that like the one it replaces (another brand) it answers to the 192.168.100.1 http address. However, it prompts for a user and password like other such devices do, but the manual for the thing does not give the password or even mention the interface.



I would like to check the signal strength, and would like to try out this interface. Does anyone know the user/password for this modem or any others from this manufacturer?

User: Try Admin, Administrator, admin, administrator no password

Thanks for the suggestion, but no luck. Still have not heard from the tech support people at Best Data either. :-(
