I've got some MODEL: DP1110 modems, problem is it comes up, then after
a while the cmts doesn't see. it doesn't pass data, yet lights are on
as if it's online. I was looking for newest firmware to fix this.
please send it along.... TY
Com21 Firmware, Anybody got new firmware?

The firmware is loaded from the ISP/Cable company. If you are renting a Com21 modem from them, ask for a swapout for a Motorola or Scientific Atlanta (there's a reason Com21 went out of business). If you own the modem, well, maybe you need to think about getting a new one.
I'm not saying they were all that bad, but just not all that good. My experience with them (I was a cableco supervisor at the time), was just what you are experiencing. Some units would work great forever, but many more would lock up.
