I am trying to find security cameras that will view 200ft. to 300ft. day and night with quality enough to identify someone's face and what they are doing. I will need them to be motion sensitive as well. Problem is I don't know anothing about security cameras.
Can someone please tell me what spec. I need to look for when shopping for security cameras?
What's the width of the area you want to view from 200 - 300 feet away (Also called "field of view")?? I'll need this to determine the focal length and zoom factor of the lens. Higher quality IR illuminators for that distance are going to be expensive (on the order of $2500 - $4000 - but that's CDN dollars).
