Using Forte Agent I can read news from news.verizon.net with my Username and Password. This is on my desktop PC (Win XP system). However, with my Dell Axim pocket pc in the sync cradle (running Microsoft Active Sync) I cannot read news with the popular Qusnetsoft NewsReader. With settings set to usr: snipped-for-privacy@news.verizon.net:119 I get the error "480 Authentication Required".
So maybe something's weird with verizon?
