DI624 cannot see WAN when DHCP disabled???

Feb 18, 2006 1 Replies

I have the infamous router DI-624 and I wanted to make my home wpa2 wireless a bit more secure, disabling the dhcp server on the router and assigning the clients static IPs.

To my surprise, all the clients (wired and wireless) connect well with the router, but none can access the internet! I have re-enabled the dhcp server and noticed that only the clients with a dhcp address received from the router connect to the internet, the others with a static IP don't!

The router is connected to adsl through dynamic pppoe.

Anybody can explain that???

I try your configuration and it work very good for me !
