Can a cell phone portable hotspot network work with a Roku and other devices?
My current phone wont do that so I'd have to get a new one. My current ISP is having trouble getting internet to work right so I'm looking for a better setup. Internet went out for seven days and now keeps having problems.
Data over cellular is either capped or very expensive. Do you have LTE in your area?
You need to research the plan carefully. Some carriers treat hotspot and tethering differently. I would be more inclined to suggest tethering since you may find the best location for the phone is not in a great location for the TV.
