Oh well I keep my desktop in the living room I was thinking of moving it to the bedroom to give more space I have a small one bedroom flat trying to make room thats all.

I run x64 as well. My advice is to check drivers before you buy. ;-)

I don't know your application, but using the ethernet port would be better than usb.

Use a wireless client (gaming) adapter instead, connected to an Ethernet port.

What is a "wireless client (gaming) adapter"?

I am trying to get the Belkin working in XP 64bit too.
