Cisco Pix 501 - VPN - Private IP

Hi guys, i have a question aroo for you. If i have a cisco PIX on a private IP inside a network e,g, eth0 192.168.0.1 eth1 192.168.0.2 im not particularly interested in using its firewall capabilitys, just its VPN abilities. Is it possible to utilise the VPN functionality using port forwarding from a main DSL router? We have 1 public ip address which is, obviously assigned to the DSL router.

Hi, Can't see a problem, depending how well the dsl router handles the port forwarding, and the encapsulation mode you use on the vpn connection. simon
