Does anyone remember any way in which it is possible to provide a timed cover facility on a Release 4 Definity system?
I think I can do it by turning the current station numbers into VDN/Vectors and renumbering the stations to something else but these new numbers will be displayed on CLI phones and hence may be used instead of the "correct" numbers. This will negate the whole purpose of the cover paths, which is to screen a department from calls during certain hours.
The obvious answer is to upgrade but we don't have the funds.
